Encouragement, confidence, and joy in reading

At Dyslexic Dragons that Read, we focus on building confidence and a love of stories in a pressure free, understanding environment. Dragons will explore books through multiple formats, share experiences, and discover strategies that make reading more accessible and enjoyable.

There are no reading levels to be concerned with here. We only ask that you bring your courage and curiosity to a community of supportive and like minded participants. Whether you read aloud, listen to audiobooks, enjoy graphic novels, or prefer short passages, you belong.

We will generally spend 45 minutes in a structured format led by the program organizers and specialists before we take a short break.  We will then have 45 minutes to enjoy an open social conversation centering on the topic of the day.
